Gardiner, Montana Park Street pictures on MontanaPictures.Net (Page five of twelve)

Picture of a yellow Bombardier Snowcoach.
50408 For an unforgettable adventure see Yellowstone Park in the winter.
"Presidents Day Weekend" is an incredible time to see "Old Faithful" or "The Thumb" on "Yellowstone Lake."

The easiest way to travel the snow packed winter roads in Yellowstone is by snowcoach.
Snowcoaches have been operating in Yellowstone National Park since 1955.
You can learn more about Yellowstone during a warm two-hour snow ride than
you ever could wandering around "solo."
We like riding in the old "Bombardier" Snowcoaches (pictured above) the best.

Picture of a white Yellowstone Snowcoach.
50408 The modified "van" Snowcoach are roomier and can hold more people.
Both Snowcoaches are the way to see Yellowstone in the winter.

From here we could enter the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the drive to the nearby "hotpots."
We could drive eight miles from the North Entrance of the Park to see the famous "Hot Spring Terraces" at Mammoth.
A walk down to the Yellowstone River is a nice way to enjoy Gardiner.   Look for this unusual looking river boulder.

Let's drive north on Highway 89 to see the views from Gardiner to Livingston, Montana.
