Walking from the north hills toward downtown Shelby we pass by the
Shelby Elementary School.
To the left is the Shelby High School.

Across from the schools are
five excellent baseball fields
- they are all part of the
Shelby Parks System.
If you really want to stretch your legs, there is a
paved 5.06 mile trail called the "Roadrunner Recreation Trail"
that runs by
"Lake Shel-oole."
People ask, "Where can I launch my boat?" There is lots of water, just
take a look at nearby Lake Elwell south of Chester, Montana.
During our walk from the north hills we passed three more churches.
The Church of the Latter Day Saints
at 915 Westwood Avenue,
the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
at 1075 Oilfield Avenue and the
First Baptist Church (SBC)
at 751 Marias Avenue.
Look, there is
another pretty area called "Aronow Park."
We like the privately owned
Geranium
and
Petunia flower gardens
you see all around town.
