| Many visitors to the caverns agree that their visit to Lewis & Clark Caverns | |
| was a welcomed escape from the 95 (F) degree heat outside. | |

| Built in 1937, this is the first state park building in Montana. This was part of the original | |
| Lewis & Clark Caverns public campground. The campgrounds were relocated closer to the | |
| park's main entrance in 1956. | |
