The Iron Front
Building - Built in 1888.
This five story building
represents
possibly the most extensive
use of
iron in 1880's Montana
construction.
The cast iron components of
the building
were manufactured by the John
Stedman
Foundry west of Helena.*

The Parchen Block - The Parchen
building (right)
and the Masonic Temple were built in 1885.
The facade has been restored to it's
original condition under the direction of
architect Oswald O. Berg of Bozeman.*
