Walking around Ekalaka, Montana on MontanaPictures.net  (Page two of seven)

Picture of the Carter County Museum in Ekalaka Montana.
70407 Fourth of July in Ekalaka, Montana.                      We really like the big "open feeling" you get as you walk down Main street.
(Please scroll to the right to see the view)  Be sure you turn around and look for the letter "E" on the butte to the east.  (You'll need to enlarge the image.)  Here is another favorite view of the butte east of town.    Nice job on the town "welcome signs" - way to go!

The Carter County Museum has a great "Homesteaders" cabin
to the left of the museum main entrance.
Be sure to check out the complete duck-billed dinosaur skeleton on display inside
the  Carter County Museum. The museum building was built by Polish stonemason
Nicholas Kakafatich in the 1920's as a garage from local quarried sandstone.
