Dillon, Montana pictures on MontanaPictures.Net (Page one of five)

12305 Yee haw!  We're in Dillon country!  They have the best trout fishing and some incredible scenery that hasn't changed much
since Lewis and Clark hiked near here in the summer of 1805.  This is the morning view of the Big Hole River near Glen, Montana.
To the north (left) sits the town of Melrose.  We're headed south towards the town of Dillon.

Driving down the "frontage" road we pass the entrance to "Clark's Lookout."

On August 13, 1805 William Clark climbed up to the rocky point to utter a common Montana question: "Where are we?"
Let's go up for a look...

There will be a short quiz at the end of the tour.
