The view of Sugarloaf Mountain from Danaher Meadows on MontanaPictures.Net (Page nine of ten)

81811  Locating the Danaher Meadows Guard Station can be a little frustrating.
There are multiple trails from the Danaher Meadows campground that twist and turn in all the wrong directions.
We hope the slideshow directions (above) to the Guard Station will make your hike a little easier.

81811  You are looking at the extreme northern edge of Danaher Meadows in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
(Please scroll to the right to see the view.)

A veteran wrangler told us: "Danaher Meadows is nice but it get's even better as you walk farther north to Basin Creek."
We need two leisurely days to walk back to the North Fork of the Blackfoot Trailhead and our truck.
We'll have to stop here if we want to get back to work on time.
Guess that means will be hiking from the Beanchmark trailhead to the Basin Creek Guard Station next August.
