| This year we "Goofed." The official start of the "2007 What the Hay Contest" was September 9th. | |
| When we arrive almost two weeks later we were "shocked" to see many of the sculptures were gone! | |
| Many times we would pull up to a half dozen cows standing with their mouths full around a small pile of hay. | |
| Upon investigation we discovered that the small pile of hay was once a "What the Hay Contest" sculpture. | |
